Privacy notice

This notice stands on its own. It is not buried in the terms. Venus and Mars (vndm.in) is the data fiduciary for this store. We collect only what we need to fulfil and support your order, or to send drop emails if you ask for them.

This notice is in English. Email us if you need it in another Eighth Schedule language.

Who we are

Personal data we process

• Checkout: name, phone, email, shipping address, PIN code, order contents, size and colour
• Support: messages you send on email or WhatsApp, including photos of a parcel if you claim damage
• On this device: cart and a local account profile (browser storage, not our server)
• Club signup: email address, if you join the mailing list
• We do not collect card numbers or UPI PINs. Prepaid, when live, stays with the payment gateway

Why we use it

• To accept, pack and deliver the tee you ordered, and to take COD payment from the courier
• To tell you if a PIN cannot be served, fulfilment fails, or a tracking ID exists
• To handle cancellations, replacements, refunds, and complaints
• To email new drops only if you submitted the club form
• To keep a record of the order if there is a dispute, chargeback, or tax query

Placing an order is a request for those goods. Club signup is separate — you can skip it and still buy a tee.

Who we share it with

• Fulfilment partners in India, so they can pack the garment and hand it to a courier
• The courier assigned for delivery and COD
• Hosting: this website runs on Vercel. Checkout requests are processed there
• PhonePe, when prepaid UPI or cards are switched on — they process the payment, we do not store the instrument

We do not sell your data. We do not run an advertising pixel on the store today.

How long we keep it

Order and complaint records are kept for three years, or longer if a dispute or law requires it. Club emails are kept until you ask us to stop. Cart and account data live in your browser until you clear the site data.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold, withdraw consent for the club list, use grievance redressal, and nominate someone to exercise rights on your behalf if you wish. Write to support@vndm.in from the address we have on the order. We aim to reply within a reasonable period, and we will say if we must keep a record (for example an invoice trail).

You may complain to the Data Protection Board of India after using our grievance channel, once the Board’s public complaint route applies to your request.

Cookies and local storage

The store uses local storage for cart and account. There is no advertising or analytics cookie on the shop unless we add one later for Meta ads, in which case this notice will name it and we will ask before any non-essential tracking.

You should be 18 or older to order, or buying with a parent or guardian.
